Dear Maintainer, I am also interested in cifs-utils 7.2 being packaged, and I think it would be fantastic if it could make trixie before Soft Freeze.
I am also mostly interested in the changes to mount handling across namespaces, and think that it would be a popular feature among LTS users in the future. If you need any help with packaging or testing, please let me know. Thanks, Matthew
