thanks for the interesting patch. But I won't accept it as-is. The
reason is that the PCM packetizer (p_pcm.cpp) is only supposed to handle
PCM audio data. E.g. it can react to "--sync" by adding silence or
removing samples as needed. For general ACM support the proper way would
be to make r_wav.cpp and r_matroska.cpp (!) use the pass-through
packetizer for A_MS/ACM.

Maybe it'll be better if the technical discussion is not held on the
Debian BTS ;)
