Package: mate-panel Version: 1.27.1-4.1 Upon logging in, after MATE update, clock and weather applet would not load, given option to reload, not reload, or delete the applets. The xsession-errors file not giving an obvious candidate for a workaround, but error messages abound. Attempted to reinstall the mate desktop task, which has worked for similar occurrences in the past, with no success this time. I attempted to reinstall the clock, and it would install. Weather would not. If I attempted to activate weather in the clock applet (by entering location), the clock applet would crash out like the weather applet. It could be reloaded though, since location details were not saved because of the applet crash. So, there is some suspicion that setting a location for weather services is crashing the applets. xsession-errors snippets are below.
