It's a small editorplugin which would be great to have in stable. [ Impact ] It's a standalone vim plugin not affecting any other packages, so the impact is pretty minimal. [ Tests ] vim-vimtex has no tests. [ Risks ] Fairly minimal, since it is an arch:all package only installing files and it has no rdeps.
