- You do not strictly need to use python-central, but please make sure to only byte-compile for -O, if it's wanted (see /etc/python/debian_config) - Please consider to provide support for multiple python version, even if it makes the package bigger. It makes it easier to get packages into testing (this one and depending ones), and we'll drop 2.3 after the transition. Thanks, Matthias
