I'm glad you want to save this package. The automation acts on inactive rc bugs. The relevant bug is #1067465. Please state your intention to fix that problem (ideally with a brief plan of what needs doing or adding blocking bugs) on that particular bug. Then close this pre-removal bug. Your mail to #1067465 will be considered activity and that will postpone any attempt for removal for a year. I hope you'll have managed to fix it within a year.
