I have another Debian system with wine 0.9.11, the program works there. I tried installing the wine 0.9.11 packages on the system where it didn't work, but it didn't help, same result with wine 0.9.15 from winehq. This is strange, this program once worked on both systems. I suppose that a change in some library wine depends on triggered this problem. In the meantime I opened bug 5456 upstream.
