Dear maintainer,

the latest 2.10-0.1+deb12u1 update introduces a regression in ifconfig:
all packet counters always show zero:

$ ifconfig br0
br0: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST>  mtu 1500
        inet 192.168.0.1  netmask 255.255.255.0  broadcast 192.168.0.255
        inet6 2a02:168:6818::1  prefixlen 64  scopeid 0x0<global>
        inet6 fe80::4028:5dff:feb2:8771  prefixlen 64  scopeid 0x20<link>
        ether 42:28:5d:b2:87:71  txqueuelen 1000  (Ethernet)
        RX packets 0  bytes 0 (0.0 B)
        RX errors 0  dropped 0  overruns 0  frame 0
        TX packets 0  bytes 0 (0.0 B)
        TX errors 0  dropped 0 overruns 0  carrier 0  collisions 0

this applies to all interfaces on several machines I checked. The
correct values are known to the kernel:

$ cat /sys/class/net/br0/statistics/rx_packets
6623318

thanks and kind regards,
-Christian
