Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
I had a fresh installation of Debian 12. During the installation I chose to
encrypt /. When the system boots, it appears that the adjustment of the GRUB
file at /etc/default/grub to use GRUB_GFXMODE=640x480 is overridden by LVM when
getting to the password entry field. The subsequent text stream also is set
back to tiny text from there on until the graphical desktop takes over.

Thank you.
