Package: lvm2 Version: 2.03.16-2 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear Maintainer, I had a fresh installation of Debian 12. During the installation I chose to encrypt /. When the system boots, it appears that the adjustment of the GRUB file at /etc/default/grub to use GRUB_GFXMODE=640x480 is overridden by LVM when getting to the password entry field. The subsequent text stream also is set back to tiny text from there on until the graphical desktop takes over. Thank you. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.11 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-33-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages lvm2 depends on: ii dmeventd 2:1.02.185-2 ii dmsetup 2:1.02.185-2 ii libaio1 0.3.113-4 ii libblkid1 2.38.1-5+deb12u3 ii libc6 2.36-9+deb12u10 ii libdevmapper-event1.02.1 2:1.02.185-2 ii libedit2 3.1-20221030-2 ii libselinux1 3.4-1+b6 ii libsystemd0 252.38-1~deb12u1 ii libudev1 252.38-1~deb12u1 ii sysvinit-utils [lsb-base] 3.06-4 Versions of packages lvm2 recommends: pn thin-provisioning-tools <none> lvm2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
