Package: linux-image-6.1.0-37
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

now shortly before trixie release, I discovered, that a special wireless card
is not activated by the kernel.
The responsible module is "iwlwifi", and the crad is "Alder Lake-P PCH CNVi
WiFi [8086:51f0] (rev 01).

Searching the web, I found no solution, but manay, many peiople with the same
issue.

I made sure, the correct firmware is installed, module is loaded, but no
success.

Tried also older (5.12.X) and newer (6.22.X) kernels, without any success.

The command lspci sees the hardware, mentioned as above, but can not be
configured.

At boot, as soon as the kernel is loaded, I get the message: "iwlwifi: No
config found for PCI dev 51f0/0244, rev=0x370, rfid=0x10c000"

Sadly I will not own the notebook with this issue long time, as it is not mine,
so testing is impossible for me.
But independent from this, I do not want to miss to mention this issue, as
Trixie will not work with wlan with this hardware!

Thank you very much for reading this and your efforts to fix this issue!

Best regards

Hans
