Hello

Tested so far.

Bookworm to Trixie did work well no problems regarding MariaDB.
After upgrade so did all sites work as before with MariaDB11.8.1-4
New servers running Trixie with MariaDB11.8.1-4
all sites (few so no high traffic sites yet)
are all working, so no problems with MariaDB11.8.1-4

Backups of MariaDB11.8.1-4 usingmysqldump are working well no problems so far.
And also MariaDB11.8.1-4 is working well with Mythtv plus
backups withmysqldump.

Hi Johnny,

I hope you've had a chance to test latest MariaDB 11.8 and Debian Trixie
since I wrote you about two months ago. If you haven't yet, it is still not
too late!

As Debian and MariaDB are open source software, they depend on contributions
from advanced users like you. You can easily contribute by testing installing
MariaDB in Debian testing/unstable, or by testing upgrades of MariaDB from
Bookworm to Trixie, and doing either A, B or C:

A) If you run into any issues, check if it was already reported at
    https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?repeatmerged=&src=mariadb
and if so, help enrich the report with additional information.

B) If it hasn't been reported yet, please file a new bug report by email to
[email protected] with first line being 'Package: mariadb' followed
    by additional information.

C) If you don't experience any issues, it is still valuable that you report
in a brief email [email protected] what you tested and did not find
    any issues.

Thanks!

- Otto

PS. If you haven't already, please help MariaDB reach 10k stars by giving a
     star on GitHub:https://github.com/mariadb/server/
The more stats show there are users, the more motivated I am to continue
     maintaining MariaDB in Debian :)
