Hi Hector,
the package egctl came up as a Bug of the Day[1] candidate today. Since
I assume I know your personal policy I simply took the freedom to create
a repository in Debian team on Salsa[2] fixing this bug by upgrading the
package to latest upstream (+ modernise packaging a bit).
Usually I'm filing bug reports when doing this kind of actions but since
we know each other I assume this formalism is not needed. Please let me
know if you might be not happy about your package in Debian team on Salsa
and I will change following your preferences.
I intend to upload the status in Git after Trixie release if you will
not beat me in doing so.
