Hi, /var/lib/doodle is a default directory containing doodle database. README file doesn't mention that, but one have to specify a database file in order to scan a directory with files. When I run
$ doodle -bf /path I get just a: "Could not open '/var/lib/doodle': Is a directory" message, so my situation is similar: doodle thinks that /var/lib/doodle is a db file. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (150, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16H Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to pl_PL.UTF-8) Versions of packages doodle depends on: ii adduser 3.87 Add and remove users and groups ii libdoodle1 0.6.5-2 Desktop Search Engine (Library) doodle recommends no packages. -- no debconf information Regards, Kamil ---------------------------------------------------- Oglądaj -> Wydarzenia.wp.pl -> Wiesz, co najważniejsze!
