Package: ecryptfs-utils Version: 111-8 Severity: important Tags: patch upstream X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear Maintainer, When running the 'ecryptfs-setup-swap' command, the user gets prompted to install the 'cryptsetup' package. As of the current release of Debian 13 testing, the functionality of this package seems to have been replaced by 'systemd-cryptsetup'. Installing the 'cryptsetup' package does no longer auto-mount '/dev/mapper/cryptswap1' at startup. Please prompt the users to install the correct package going forward. Thank you! -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.0 APT prefers testing-security APT policy: (500, 'testing-security'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.38+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/22 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages ecryptfs-utils depends on: ii gettext-base 0.23.1-2 ii keyutils 1.6.3-6 ii libc6 2.41-10 ii libecryptfs1 111-8 ii libgpgme11t64 1.24.2-3 ii libkeyutils1 1.6.3-6 ii libpam-runtime 1.7.0-5 ii libpam0g 1.7.0-5 ii libtspi1 0.3.15-0.4 ecryptfs-utils recommends no packages.
