Package: python2.3-libplot
Version: 1.0.2-2
Severity: normal

I've tried to re-compile the package from the source with the commands::

   dpkg-source -x python2.3-libplot_1.0.2-2.dsc
   debian/rules build

Then, executing the example with::

   ./gosperc.py

yields the follwoing error message::

   Traceback (most recent call last):
     File "./gosperc.py", line 6, in ?
       import libplot
     File "libplot.py", line 21, in ?
       from _libplot import *
   ImportError: dynamic module does not define init function (init_libplot)

I will want to install this package on a system not running Debian. I need a
"working" source to re-compile the package since the Debian binary package does
not work on the system.

In advance, many thanks for your help.

With kind regards -- JHK
