Hi Michael,
this bug was a candidate for the bug of the day[1] today. Given that
you are perfectly active on other packages and that you are even
upstream for the source of bmt, I would like to contact you before
tackling this bug.
The goal of the Bug of the Day effort is to demonstrate fixing bugs and
learning modern packaging in single commits on Salsa. Thus we usually
move packages that are not yet there to Salsa first. This might be the
first action some DDs have reservations about - thus asking in advance.
Would you be happy if we move this package to the Debian/ team on Salsa?
