Package: webext-keepassxc-browser Version: 1.9.7+repack1-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
The keepassxc extension in this version is not supported with chromium 139 because of removal of manifest v2. This package still tries to install the extension for chromium system-wide, which gives an error message on start. Moreover, the user cannot permanently remove/disable the extension from chromium. This can become annoying if you want to keep this package because you are using both chromium and firefox. IIRC, updating the extension to 1.9.9.1 (which obviously works) in trixie would violate debian policy. If possible, I suggest removing the symlink from /usr/share/chromium/extensions. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.0 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.41+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages webext-keepassxc-browser depends on: ii keepassxc-full 2.7.10+dfsg1-1 Versions of packages webext-keepassxc-browser recommends: ii chromium 139.0.7258.127-1~deb13u1 ii firefox-esr 128.13.0esr-1 webext-keepassxc-browser suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
