Argh, sorry about that -- long story short, upstream heavily favors static linkage, and my packaging's attempt to compensate evidently needs more work. :-/ Thanks for the report; I'll look into a fix when I get a chance. One of these days, I should add a superficial autopkgtest or two to confirm that the -dev package is properly usable both with and without CMake. -- Aaron M.
