Package: gcl Version: 2.6.14-19 Severity: minor Tags: upstream Hello.
When I start Emacs (development version, 31.9.59, a git checkout), having GCL installed, I see this warning: - Warning (files): Missing ‘lexical-binding’ cookie in "/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/gcl/default.el". You can add one with ‘M-x elisp-enable-lexical-binding RET’. See ‘(elisp)Selecting Lisp Dialect’ and ‘(elisp)Converting to Lexical Binding’ for more information. Maybe it would be nice to add the said configuration to the file? (Or does it depend on dynamic scope?) I know this is for the devel version (31.0.50) of Emacs, but I suppose it would be nice to already have GCL prepared for the next version of Emacs. If not, accept my apologies for this report.
