I don't understand. A package is uninstallable in unstable, and you
seem to argue that it is fine to leave it at that for 5 months? No
bugreport, nothing?

Please initially upload to experimental, and strive towards packages in
the unstable suite always being installable.

I am frankly quite tired of filing bugreports against totally broken
packages maintained by the Rust team.
