Dear Maintainer,

   * After upgrading the system to Debian 13, Trixie, the Firefox URL bar
started to behave unexpectedly on Plasma (Wayland).
     Screencast: https://i.imgur.com/78Q8oxD.mp4

     - Inline autocomplete suggestions no longer show up.
     - The suggestions drop down 'redraws' (completely closes and opens with
new results) after every single keystroke.

   * So far I've tried the following:

     - Tried purging, deleting config/profile directory, and re-installing
Firefox.
     - Tried purging and installing a different release of Firefox, like
Nightly, ESR, etc.
     - Tried other browsers to check for the same problem: Chromium, Konqueror,
Librewolf.
     - Tried running the same installs in GNOME (Wayland) and Plasma (X11).
     - Tried tweaking several Plasma settings like animation, etc.
Tried tweaking Firefox's Wayland settings from about:config.

   * I have not been able to identify the cause or a solution to this problem.
     What I've learned:

     - All installs, release channels and forks of Firefox exhibit the same
problem when running under Plasma (Wayland), ever since the upgrade to Trixie.
     - The same installs work as expected under GNOME (Wayland), and Plasma
(X11).

   * Expected behaviour:
Working as expected on GNOME (Wayland) & Plasma (X11):
https://i.imgur.com/3jWxUkc.mp4

     - that the URL bar suggests inline autocomplete as configured, like it
does elsewhere.
     - that the weird jittery behaviour of the drop down list goes away.
