Beware! The bug's severity is "serious", i.e. it is considered release
critical, and not fixing the bug is a valid cause for removal of the
packages. The packages are currently scheduled for auto-removal with a
scheduled removal date of 2025-09-28 and 2025-10-01 respectively.

So the required timescale for fixing this is not "before forky starts
to settle" i.e. "sometime on 2027", but rather "within the next 10-12
days", so that the fixed version migrates to testing before the first
auto-removal date.

The issue is half-fixed upstream in zfs, adding a symlink with a new
name to the old script name as a transitional state, preparing for
renaming the script. But it looks like the complete rename need to be
done earlier downstream in Debian to avoid triggering auto-removal,
since from my prospective as on outsider it seems unlikely that
upstream will release a version with the complete fix within the next
10-12 days.
