Do we have any news on that? I really want to upgrade to 6.16 and wl is holding
me back.

In other news, ubuntu 25.10 got 6.17rc3 a few days ago and wl failed to build
again. Luckily, someone had reported it early and a patch became available.

Proof that the patch works, although it is not yer part of the package.

p.s. I use reportbug from my desktop pc, which is on testing and has no
wireless. Wl is used on my laptop, which is on unstable and is stuck on 6.12. I
see no reason to install and setup reportbug there as well.
