It can used to converts Chinese terminal output encoded on some terminal connection. For example, use the following command in xfce4-terminal, the Chinese character will display correctly. yyt -fgb2312 -tutf8 ssh bbs.newsmth.com If only run "ssh bbs.newsmth.com", the Chinese character will display Unreadable Chinese code.
