Dear Maintainer,
I'd like to request a backport of 0200091 [1] to trixie. This commit
fixed a problem when using publicly signed certificates as originally
reported against the gnome-remote-desktop software [2]. When using
too-long certificates, the connection to the server will effectively
just time out.

FWIW, https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/pull/11830 is another half of
this fix.
We probably can fix it through a trixie point release, but I guess the
release team wont let it in with just this fix.
