I don't use GD any more, but it is my impression that not everyone wants
a 52 MB library nor Python scripting for their graphics rendering.

I have Cc'ed the GD team whom I suspect might be interested in taking
over this library - if they are not interested (but please do allow them
some time to respond), then for my sake it can be dropped.
