I was reading throug the related upstream bug opened:https://lore.kernel.org/regressions/[email protected]/T/#u My SSD is not Samsung, but the symptons are the same # sudo hdparm -I /dev/disk/by-id/ata-M4-CT064M4SSD1_00000000123109116C75|grep "interface power"
* Device-initiated interface power management Using the suggested workaround:ahci.mobile_lpm_policy=1DIPM is disabled on disk: # hdparm -I /dev/disk/by-id/ata-M4-CT064M4SSD1_00000000123109116C75|grep "interface power" Device-initiated interface power management And now my system reboots perfectly. So I guess my problem would be solved if DIPM is also disabled on Crucial M4 disks when connected to ATI AHCI controllers. Am I right?
