Hi Miriam, Hi Jonas,

First of all I did used 'scratch' ten years ago
with my daughter and we really like it.
My colleagues also did with their children.

I tried today the version in unstable with a Wayland desktop
and it looks very bad. Especialy against the online
version. I would not consider showing the package
in Debian to children nowadays.

Upstream is still considering publishing
again something for Linux but it does not seems to materialize.

I haven't tested, but this looks like a more practical alternative

Moreover, from the interpretation of this PopCon graph;
'scratch' seems to be the only reason to keep the old 4.x 'squeak-vm' around

https://qa.debian.org/popcon-graph.php?packages=scratch+squeak-vm&show_installed=on&want_legend=on&want_ticks=on&from_date=&to_date=&hlght_date=&date_fmt=%25Y-%25m&beenhere=1

squeak-vm has new 6.x releases that would be much more easier to maintain ...
if there is a need.
