Package: python-matplotlib-doc
Version: 0.86.2-5
Severity: wishlist

It is very nice that the user-guide is included, but why does it need to
be gzipped? There is no need for this and it makes things just harder
for the user in that xpdf won't open the file befoer it is unzipped.

The size saved is also only 6%

    gzipped size: 4 352 775
   unzipped size: 4 641 642
