Package: apt-cacher-ng Version: 3.7.5-1+b1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
the problem I'm trying to solve: I'm using acng on my laptop and that machine is not always online as I travel from home to work and back daily. I'd like to carry out some Debian maintenance tasks even while being offline. For that, acng has the Offlinemode setting in acng.conf. Right now, when I want to switch to offline mode I have to: 1. edit /etc/apt-cacher-ng/acng.conf 2. restart apt-cacher-ng.service When I'm at some stable connection again, I must not forget to do the same dance again. This gets tiresome if one has to do this four times a day. It would be nice if one could do this either by a click in the web interface or by running acngtool. If it were possible by using the latter, then one could even call that tool from a NetworkManager hook automatically. How easy/hard would it be to make this setting configurable at runtime? Thanks! cheers, josch
