I compiled cairo-dock-core on Debian unstable and ran it on a KDE
Wayland session. I couldn't satisfy all build dependencies for
cairo-dock-plug-ins, specifically missing "gldi>=3.6.0", so I couldn't
test cairo-dock capabilities properly. Instructions are in [1], some
dependencies packages names are not up to date in the guide.
The result I got was still rough, the dock does start and shows up in a
Wayland session, and it is possible to invoque the configuration panel
too, but most settings were disabled or ineffective. I will try to
experiment with different compilation switches if I have time in the
coming days, and test as many plug-ins as possible.
