golang-github-socketplane-libovsdb is an unused leaf package. I am working on updating golang-github-ovn-org-libovsdb, and realized that the two packages have been providing the same library under different import paths, and that updating both to the latest release will cause file conflicts. Back when I initially packaged ovn-org-libovsdb, the XS-Go-Import- Path for socketplane-libovsdb was different, so I didn't notice it. Since then, both upstreams have converged back to the parent of their forks, https://github.com/ovn-kubernetes/libovsdb. I see that Andreas just did a bunch of work to bring socketplane- libovsdb up to date, but with no reverse build dependencies I think this package should be removed in favor of ovn-org-libovsdb which does have a single reverse build dependency (incus). I'm filing this bug to notify the package's listed uploader and Andreas who just touched it; I intend to convert this report to a RM bug in a week or two unless there's strong push back. Mathias
