I think I was wrong. Hm.

Oh, it's much easier:
- Removing the >= 1.130.1-3~ from the test dependency seems to be enough, - with gearman-server 1.130.1-2 some tests are skipped, as gearmand-perl is not found, but the test suite passes - with gearman-server 1.130.1-3 the tests needing the servers are and pass as well

And, continuing to make a fool out of myself, this doesn't work on the buildds:

  https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=libgearman-client-perl

  libgearman-client-perl build-depends on:
  - gearman-server:amd64
  libgearman-client-perl build-depends on:
  - gearman-server:amd64
  gearman-server depends on:
  - libgearman-client-perl:amd64
  gearman-server conflicts with:
  - libgearman-client-perl:amd64 (< 2.004.015-2)

as the only have the "new" gearman-server with the breaks …

I guess I try to (temporarily) remove the Breaks in gearman-server …

Cheers,
gregor
