Package: plocate Version: 1.1.23-1 Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
When installing plocate together with incus, which might use /var/lib/incus as storage backend, plocate might start looking into all the files in the container file system, which would cause noise in the locate database (and potentially create a very large database). This could simply be achieved by appending /var/lib/incus to PRUNEPATHS. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.48+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=es_ES:es Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages plocate depends on: ii adduser 3.152 ii libc6 2.41-12 ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-19 ii libstdc++6 14.2.0-19 ii liburing2 2.9-1 ii libzstd1 1.5.7+dfsg-1 plocate recommends no packages.
