Thanks for that update, getting close.

I've submitted a merge request [1] with a bunch of smaller fixes, and
a rewrite of the autopkgtest.

Then a couple of suggestions for further improvement:
* copyright: several entries for broadcom could be combined; the
  'Files' field is allowed to have multiple lines (with a space at
  the start of the line), allowing for a single entry to cover
  multiple files. 
  Doing so would greatly improve readability.

* the salsa repo has its default branch (where everyone ends up by
  default when visiting the web interface or cloning the repo) set to
  "main", while "debian/latest" seems to be the branch that actually
  holds your up-to-date packaging work.


Other than that, LGTM. Let me know once you have an updated package
ready.
