There is another package in Debian packaged as elan: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/elan
To package the linguistic tool ELAN, a different source package name must be used and packagers must be careful that there are no files installed with the same name as installed by the existing elan packages. Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
