Thank you. Yes, you are absolutely right: i forgot to mention that we use live-build to build the ISO and it (or its tools) does not generate the "/cdrom/firmware/Contents-firmware" file (not sure why), so the check-missing-firmware.sh iterates over all the files inside the /cdrom/firmware/ folder. That's why i was wondering why nobody else reports this issue.
