on my trixie laptop, opening Okular's settings results in $ okular No text-to-speech plug-ins were found. I'm guessing you could have one text-to-speech engine [1] installed on the system where Okular crashes. Maybe the Settings module [2] tries to poll the TTS engine and isn't able to manage the answer it gets. ( I also have ffmpeg on my laptop, but no TTS engine, then likely ffmpeg appears in your log because something else is invoking it) Do you have any chance to check this out, e.g. temporarily remove the TTS engine, if installed?
