It has been 1,5 years ago. I don't have that tree structure anymore. I
finished my deduplication with fclones back then.
Jody said the program was in the middle of a rewrite and that the
algorithm was gonna change completely so I interpreted that as if
exploring this bug was not very useful.
I just checked and see v2 is not ready yet but I see there are a lot of
backported updates for the v1.x branch available. Did not follow that
progress.
I used the following commands and the directories only had text files:
jdupes -r dir1 dir2
jdupes -ru dir1 dir2
nr_uniques + nr_duplicates were not equal to total nr_files.
