I guess this might be actually an issue in grub-common’s /etc/grub.d/10_linux, so please re-assign accordingly if so (I still thought kernel team should get a heads up). When I had 6.16.12+deb14 and 6.16.12+deb14+1 both installed, than it seems that grub menu considered the latter "older" and kept 6.16.12+deb14 as the "main" kernel.
