You are right, at the moment src:flac is built with autotools buildsystem. In README.md the upstream says that both autotools and cmake buildsystems "should be considered equivalent for most use cases". In CMakeLists.txt I can see the code needed to build the .cmake file.
I am interested in building src:flac using cmake and comparing the outcomes. But maybe someone already knows why autotools were chosen instead of cmake to build src:flac?
