Hi,
I do not agree. I can consistently crash my GNOME shell like this:
$ qiv /tmp/05_Xak_2_-_Het_Kasteel.png
Press q on the qiv window (which is staying black for me anyway).
This gives me the 'Oops, something has gone wrong" and I have to log out
and log in.
