Package: grub-efi-amd64 Version: 2.14~git20250718.0e36779-2 Severity: normal
grub 2.12 resolution was using a resolution that was not vga without anything in my settings (in /etc/default/grub I mean) Now I have the old vga resolution from 10 years ago. It does boot correctly however but I must wait until framebuffer/driver is up. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.56 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages grub-efi-amd64 depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.91 ii grub-efi-amd64-bin 2.14~git20250718.0e36779-2 ii grub2-common 2.14~git20250718.0e36779-2 ii ucf 3.0052 grub-efi-amd64 recommends no packages. grub-efi-amd64 suggests no packages. -- debconf information: grub2/update_nvram: true grub2/force_efi_extra_removable: false * grub2/linux_cmdline_default: quiet grub2/kfreebsd_cmdline: * grub2/linux_cmdline: rootfstype=ext4 libata.force=10.00:3G grub2/enable_os_prober: true grub2/kfreebsd_cmdline_default: quiet
