Also, it looks like the definition of key packages has changed and this bug is threatening the removal of cinnamon, gnome-core, lxde, plasma-desktop, etc.
In this bug report it was suggested to avoid parallelism. Why not work around the issue that way instead of just downgrading bug severity?
