Test Case
-------------
Checkout the apostrophe packaging, perhaps with
git clone https://salsa.debian.org/gnome-team/apostrophe
cd apostrophe

uscan -d

Instead of downloading the latest version, this error is reported:
Newest version of apostrophe on remote site is 3.4, local version is 3.2
 => Newer package available from:
        =>
https://gitlab.gnome.org/api/v4/projects/10690/repository/archive.tar.gz?sha=3.4
uscan warn: In directory ., downloading

https://gitlab.gnome.org/api/v4/projects/10690/repository/archive.tar.gz?sha=3.4
failed: 404 Not Found
uscan warn: No upstream tarball downloaded. No further processing with
mk_origtargz ...

Other Info
-------------
The contents of the watch file can be seen at

devscripts 2.25.24 fixed https://bugs.debian.org/1113795 where the
GitLab template reported v3.4 as the new upstream version instead of
3.4 which is what the GitHub template would report. However, uscan
still needs to remember the v git tag prefix for handling the
download.

Thank you,
