The problem here is that "names.xml" is a temporary generated file and I can find no instances of it or "name-extract" anywhere.
Actually the tool can be found in Debian sources[1] before version 4.4.7-1 which repackaged & removed most of the files. Can we not resurrect it from there? Would you care to follow on or should I make a try?
