It looks like you have commit access to the Salsa repo. You can do a team upload to Debian to add that patch and remove the obsolete dependency. However, we are in the middle of the pygobject transition, so please wait to upload until pluma 1.28.0-2 lands in Testing. Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
