Package: lego
Version: 4.9.1-2
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/lego

Dear Maintainer,

Hetzner is currently migrating towards a new API for DNS management with a set timeline that will end in the old DNS API no longer being available after April 2026.

Official information from Hetzner:
https://docs.hetzner.com/networking/dns/faq/beta

Lego 4.9.1 will not work with the new API and will break all DNS challenges that use Hetzner as the dns backend.

A new upstream version of lego that supports the new API is already released as 4.27.0.

Please update or patch the lego package for trixie-updates (or backports).
