Dear All,

I've looked into this and it turned out to be easier to update the package than I expected. I've created two MRs:
https://salsa.debian.org/debian/wayfire/-/merge_requests/2
https://salsa.debian.org/debian/wf-config/-/merge_requests/2

If there's a chance of making a release based on these, I'm also happy to look into the other, related packages (wf-shell and wcm) -- of course I'll update wstroke as necessary as well.

Best,

Daniel

There are also several reverse depends which need to be handled before
wayfire can be removed. Either they also need removal bugs or they
need to be updated to no longer have Depends or Build-Depends on
wayfire's packages.

This is output from Debian's dak tool:
Checking reverse dependencies...
# Broken Depends:
wstroke: wstroke

# Broken Build-Depends:
reform-firedecor: wayfire-dev (0.8.0 >=)
wayfire-shadows: wayfire-dev (0.9~ >=)
wcm: wayfire-dev (0.9.0~ >=)
wf-shell: wayfire-dev (0.9~ >=)
wstroke: wayfire-dev (0.9.0-3 >=)

Dependency problem found.

Thanks,
