Package: python3-pyqt5.qtmultimedia Version: 5.15.11+dfsg-2 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear Maintainer, After upgrading from Debian 12 to Debian 13, certain programs (notably qtqr, which can scan qr codes with webcams) did not find webcams anymore. Running the program with QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS=1 revealed QFactoryLoader() looking for a directory that did not exist on my system: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux- gnu/qt5/plugins/mediaservice As an educated guess, I installed libqt5multimedia5-plugins. This fixed the problem.
